My Story

Hi, I'm Rachel Passarella—a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, health advocate, tongue cancer survivor, and proud mom of four. I understand healthcare from both sides of the exam room, and my mission is to provide compassionate, personalized care that empowers patients to take control of their health.

My passion for patient advocacy became deeply personal when I was diagnosed with tongue cancer. As both a healthcare provider and a cancer survivor, I experienced firsthand the importance of listening to your body, asking questions, seeking answers, and advocating for your health. That experience strengthened my commitment to partnering with patients, educating them about their options, and helping them make informed decisions about their care.

My story and advocacy efforts have been featured in national and international media outlets, including People.com, Newsweek, the New York Post, and UNILAD. Through these platforms, I have shared the importance of early detection, self-advocacy, and empowering individuals to take an active role in their healthcare.

I founded this practice with one simple goal: to provide healthcare that feels personal, compassionate, and tailored to each individual. I believe healthcare is about more than treating symptoms—it's about understanding the whole person, supporting families, and helping people achieve their best quality of life.

When I'm not caring for patients, you can usually find me spending time with my family, roller skating around town, enjoying a good movie, or exploring the outdoors. These experiences remind me every day how important balance, wellness, and joy are—and I bring that same perspective to the care I provide.

I am an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the American Red Cross, helping me stay connected to the latest advancements in healthcare and preventive medicine.

At our practice, you're not just a patient—you're part of our healthcare family. My approach is built on listening, education, partnership, and trust. Whether you're managing a chronic condition, seeking preventive care, or simply looking for guidance on your health journey, I'm here to support you every step of the way.
